You get a text code once: when you create your account with your mobile number, or when you confirm your spot on the Gotu list. After that you sign in to the app with a code by email, or with Apple or Google. For My Gotu on the website you get a sign-in link by email.

Wait a moment and request a new code on the same screen. Check your number: if it isn't Dutch, start with your country code, like +32. A code by email sometimes lands in spam. Still nothing? Email support@gotu-app.com.

Change your email address in the app under Profile › Account › Email address; you get a code at the new address. If you are only on the Gotu list, you can change it in My Gotu.

You can't set a different mobile number yourself. Email support@gotu-app.com from your account's email address and we'll help you.

In the app: Settings › Privacy and data › Delete account. You can also do it without the app at api.gotu-app.com/account/delete, with a code by email.

To have your spot on the Gotu list removed, email support@gotu-app.com.

• You get your spot once you confirm your number with the text code. The first 100 are Founders, 101–999 are Pioneers and Early access follows after that.
• Friends help you climb higher, without anyone losing their spot: Early access becomes Pioneer at 2 friends and Founder at 5, Pioneer becomes Founder at 3.
• At launch, Founders get into the app 72 hours early, Pioneers 48 hours and Early access 24 hours.
• Founders get €5 credit after their first deal. We organise the Founders night and launch deals by invitation and while there is room.

• A friend counts toward your status once they sign up through your link and confirm their number.
• You get €5 credit per friend once you both have an app account and your friend has redeemed a first deal, for up to 10 friends (€50).
• Your friend then gets a €5 welcome bonus.
• 1 Gotu is €1 of credit at Gotu places. It isn't money and expires 12 months after you got it, except Partner credit earned through friends.
• All the rules are in the Gotu list terms.

Report a problem from My deals in the app, or from the receipt of a Gotu payment. That tells us which venue and which redemption it was.
